How to install a Purdue-managed printer on a Purdue-managed Apple computer.

  1. Look for one of these two icons at the top of your screen and click once.

  2. Select "View my printers"

  3. This is where your printers will show up after you add them. Let's add a printer. Click "Add printers"
    Add printer

  4. You can search for your printer by the building abbreviation, room number, or the printer make & model. Each campus printer has the campus location prefix, e.g., Purdue West Lafayette (PWL) Purdue Fort Wayne (PFW)...

  5. If the printer that you are looking for is not available, please click here and submit a ticket to have it added

  6. Once you find your printer, click "Install". When it finishes, you will see the printer in the "My printers" tab.

  7. Your printers will show up as they normally do in the "Printers & Scanners" setting on your Purdue-managed Apple computer.

  8. If you wish to remove a printer, that was added from PaperCut, it must be removed via the PaperCut app. Removing the printer from the "Printers & Scanners" setting on your Purdue-managed Apple computer will not work. It will disappear but will reappear when you click "Refresh" in the PaperCut app.

  9. If you are off campus and not connected to the VPN, you may see this screen when you try to view your printers. You must be on the campus network or connected to the VPN to print to a campus printer.
