The TeamDynamix email service allows files to be attached to work items via the email service. This includes Email Monitors for ticket creation and Email Replies for replying to system notifications.
Supported Attachment Types
When using the TeamDynamix email service, it's important to know which file types are supported. The service is designed to process a variety of commonly used file formats, ensuring that attachments are not ignored during email monitoring. For SaaS (hosted) customers, the following file extensions are supported:

Graphic Files: AI, BMP, GIF, JPEG, JPG, PNG, PSD, TIF, TIFF

Document Files: CSV, DOC, DOCX, EML, HTM, HTML, LOG, MDB, MSG, PDF, PPT, PPTX, RTF, TXT, VSD, VSDX, XML

Media Files: MP3, MP4, MPEG, MPG, SWF, WAV, WMA, WMV

Compressed Files: RAR, ZIP

Supported Attachment Size
The Email Service is configured to handle attachments up to a maximum file size of approximately 20MB. This limit ensures efficient processing and delivery of emails without compromising the service's performance.
