Instructions for allowing non-subscribers to post to a Listserv. 

Instructions

  1. Log into Listserv at https://lists.purdue.edu/scripts/wa.exe
     
  2. On the left side menu, select List Configuration
     
  3. Under Select List, click on the drop-down menu and select the list you want to change and click on Update to the right
     
  4. Click on the Administrators button
     
  5. In the Send= section, click on the drop-down menu and select Public
     
  6. Click on Update in the lower right to save your changes.
     
  7. In the Send= section, put a check on the Confirm and Only Non-Members confirm box as necessary
     
  8. Click on Update in the lower right to save your changes.

The use of the @lists.purdue.edu domain enables the Mailhub group to offer this service to a wider audience, provide mailing list-specific features, and clearly mark the address as a mailing list (not an individual’s email address).
